How do we request money?

To request money via LATIPAY, you need the payer’s valid email address and any related transaction documents (for example an invoice for goods).

It does not matter whether your payer is a LATIPAY user or not.

What details does someone need to send us money?

To send you money, the sender needs your email address and your LATIPAY user ID or mobile number, regardless of whether they are an individual or business.

To ensure your account remains secure, we advise that our customers never divulge additional information such as credit card or bank account details.

After a payer sends us money, how long will it take to receive it?

Once a payment has been completed, the funds will appear in your LATIPAY e-wallet immediately. These funds will be available for use or withdrawal within two working days depending on the successful verification of the transaction documentation.

My collection status appears as rejected? What does that mean?

Rejected statuses usually refer to failure in uploading the required transaction documents. If this happens, please contact the LATIPAY customer service team.

How much does it cost to withdraw funds from my LATIPAY account?

Withdrawing funds from your LATIPAY account into a New Zealand bank account is free of charge. If you wish to withdraw your funds into a foreign bank account, there will be a bank fee of NZ$25. Please note that these figures are subject to change.
